Longan chiili paste

Longan chili paste is the popular product from Baan Suan Nom Sod Community, Li District, Lamphun Province. Uncle New, the Community Chef, prepares longans from the community farm by stir-frying them with the bird’s eye chili, garlic, shallot and other local herbs until fragrant. The longan chili paste is uniquely piquant with a touch of sweetness from longan. The chili paste can be a perfect addition to any stir-fries, noodles, spicy soups or the dipping sauce served with grilled pork neck.
